John Conoley, Chief Executive Officer

John Conoley joined in summer 2008 and has 25 years experience in the technology industry. He began his career with IBM where he held a range of technical, sales and marketing roles before progressing to general management. Latterly he was head of energy company EON’s Corporate Business Division, responsible for improving the performance and profitability of a division with sales of £1.5bn. Prior to this, he was CEO at Convergent Systems, where as CEO he engineered the successful turnaround of the company before its sale to Azurri Limited.

Ronald Caines, President of Worldwide Sales

Ron joined Psion in September 2005 and was previously the President and CEO of Symagery Microsystems, a company specializing in Imaging technology that was acquired by Psion in June 2005. Ron has over 20 years of executive-level experience in sales, marketing, business development and general management in both domestic and international markets.

Prior to joining Symagery, Ron was the President of RecruitCheck Incorporated, a U.S. firm specializing in data acquisition and distribution and had served as the Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Verilink Corporation.  From 1990 to 2000, Ron held a number of senior roles with Intermec Technologies Corporation, a global provider of AIDC products for supply chain systems.

Mike Doyle, Chief Technology Officer

Mike has 20 years of experience in automatic information and data capture industry, with Psion , Symbol Technologies, and MSI Data Corporation.  He has held a number of positions in Psion including Field Systems Engineer, Product Support Manager, Software Engineering Manager, and Advanced Technology Director. Currently as Chief Technology Officer, he is responsible for global product development.

Nick Eades, Chief Marketing Officer

Nick joined Psion in May 2009 and brings more than 20 years of marketing, strategy and leadership experience with established global technology leaders. Most recently Nick was Vice President, Marketing for Nortel where he covered the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region. Prior to Nortel, Nick held senior marketing roles for Avaya, BT Global Services, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Dell and IBM.

Adrian Colman, Chief Financial Officer

Adrian Colman, aged 40, joined the Company in the role of Chief Financial Officer in May 2011. Previously he was Chief Financial Officer of London City Airport and Group Financial Controller and Head of Investor Relations at QinetiQ Group Plc, the FTSE listed Defence and Security Technology Company. During his time at QinetiQ he worked extensively on the IPO of QinetiQ. Prior to this he was Chief Financial Officer for Numerica Group plc, an AIM listed business services group. A chartered accountant, he has also held senior management roles within KPMG Consulting and PricewaterhouseCoopers in the UK and in Asia.

Dan Pearce, Vice President, Finance

Dan has been with Teklogix and then Psion since 1987. He started in the Mississauga finance group, where he held various positions until 1993. Dan then moved to the U.S. office in Kentucky where he established the U.S. Finance function. In 1998, Dan moved to Europe where he held the positions of Director of Finance, International Operations and then Director of Operations for the same group. While in Europe, Dan assisted in establishing subsidiaries in India, South Africa and Belgium. Coming full circle, Dan then returned to Canada in 2001 as Corporate Controller. In September of 2005 Dan was promoted to Vice President, Finance.

Maija Michell, Vice President, Human Resources

Maija joined Psion in 2000 and has over 13 years of Human Resources experience reflecting her expertise in all areas of HR. Her experience in HR comes from the not-for-profit, automotive and manufacturing industries where she has held increasingly senior roles in both corporate and client positions. Maija holds a B.A. in Psychology and Communications as well as her CHRP designation; she is responsible for the global Human Resources function for the company.

Rob Gayson, Vice President, Operations & Quality

Rob joined Psion in 2007 and has over 25 years of both technical and management experience in the industrial electronics and aerospace and defence industries. His career has encompassed a number of senior leadership roles including Operations, Supply Chain and Quality management. Currently Rob is responsible for the management and administration of Psion ’ global Operations and Quality organisations.
